Main Missions

Aims

To organise activities that encourage cultural diffusion and practices. To aid initiating and setting up individual and collective projects (for students and individual artists). To offer students the chance to create a relationship of proximity with a professional artist and to instigate an interdisciplinary approach with the teachers. To take action for the coordination and diffusion of cultural information. To inform and advise on all cultural questions. To manage the cultural spaces at the University of Montpellier 2. To develop ties between the university and local cultural institutions and partners. The Cultural Pole is part of the Common Service Culture and Scientific Heritage of the University of Montpellier 2, Sciences and Technologies. The Cultural Pole wishes to encourage interactions between artistic creation and scientific research, experiment with new and innovative forms of exchange and to generate interactions between the art world and the academic community.
