LUX

Main Missions

Aims

Lux national theatre is developing a singular multidisciplinary project structured around visual arts, with the image as its corner stone, through three modalities: exhibitions, projects, performances. Each season presents exhibitions, cinema-concerts and audiovisual performances, collaborative films and projects etc. At the heart of the project is cinema, from its heritage to contemporary forms: projected cinema; set in a dialogue with music (electro, jazz and contemporary), and with dance, (new scene dance) and exhibited. This project is profoundly anchored in digital culture and creation, notably through two events: (é)mergences and professional days, Caméras mobiles, which participate in the emergence of new artists and innovative practices.
